Rabbits are Increasingly Popular Pets

After dogs and cats rabbits are the next most popular pets that we see. As well as routine vaccinations we are happy to deal with most common rabbit medical, surgical and dentistry problems.

Responsible Owners Neuter!

Ireland still has a huge problem with stray dogs and cats, with many healthy animals being put to sleep in pounds and shelters every year. Play your part: have your dog or cat neutered after six months of age

Santry Veterinary Surgery Now Open!

Our newest branch is now open in Santry on the Old Swords Road. It is smaller than our other hospital branches but still operates to the same high standard.

Surgical Procedures

Each of our hospitals has a modern and fully equipped operating theatre and is staffed by vets with a great deal of hands-on surgical experience.

Caring and Friendly Staff

All of our staff are animal lovers and most are pet owners. We know how much your pets mean to you and we constantly strive to provide you and your pet with the very highest standard of care.

Diagnostic Imaging

We can offer a full range of diagnostic imaging, including plain and contrast x-rays, ultrasound and endoscopy. We can also arrange referral for MRI and CAT scans if required.

Kitten and Puppy Care

When you bring your new kitten or puppy in for a vaccination not only does he or she get a full health check, you will get as much advice and support as you need at the start of this exciting new relationship!

Welcome to the Anicare Website!

The Anicare website has been developed to encourage our clients to learn a little more about this practice, about modern veterinary medicine in general and specifically about how we can provide the best standard of care for your pets. We hope you enjoy having a look behind the scenes of our busy practice and we welcome any feedback that you may have. We try to update the site as often as possible so please visit again!

Anicare Veterinary Group has four hospitals located in the Dublin area - one each in Glasnevin, Clontarf, Blanchardstown and Palmerstown. All four are fully inspected and accredited as "Small Animal Veterinary Hospitals" by the Irish Veterinary Council. We also now have a Veterinary Surgery open in Santry; this operates on a slightly smaller scale but still to the same high standards.

New Branch Now Open in Santry

Anicare's new surgery is now open on the Old Swords Road, Santry opposite Santry Stadium and beside Autoglass. Ample free parking is available and with two consulting rooms and full medical facilities we look forward to welcoming your pet. Opening hours are 2-5pm Monday to Friday; appointments can be made by calling 01 8527813; this phone is answered from 9am to 7pm Monday to Friday.
